Spreading the word about REPLACE 2

REPLACE 2 have been invited to run an interactive learning 60 minute workshop at the BASPCAN (The Association of England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales for Child Protection) conference in Edinburgh next April. The workshop will focus on REPLACE 2’s community-based behaviour change intervention framework to tackle female genital mutilation (FGM) in the EU

Coventry City council hosted a conference last month to combat female genital mutilation. The conference was attended by 300 delegates from agencies and community groups across Coventry and the West Midlands. Prof Hazel Barrett was invited to give an introductory talk about FGM and sat on the Q&A panel. - Read more about the event. Prior to the event Hazel was also interviewed on the Coventry & Warwickshire BBC breakfast radio show.
