This week we are putting a call out for potential community leaders/individuals to join the steering council for this project. The Steering Council will consist of 6-10 members who are leading academics in their fields, experienced researchers and esteemed community members with a diverse range of skills, opinions and experiences. Participation from active members of the community working against FGM within this project will be invaluable. Joining the steering council will require meeting every three months (eight or nine times over the course of the project) to provide input into various aspects of the projects including interpretation of findings and dissemination. Clearer roles and responsibilities will be determined at the first meeting. The Steering Council will be chaired by Dr David Beecham and the project will be managed by Professor Hazel Barrett both from Coventry University. Please email isher.kehal@coventry.ac.uk for futhur information or to register your interest. All inquries are welcome!

***Please note the meetings will be held over Skype or teleconference therefore there are no restrictions over location of the members***
