Prevention or Prosecution? The Behaviour Change Approach to Tackling FGM in the EU
Our third international interdisciplinary conference, following the REPLACE 1 conference held in Brussels, was organised by the REPLACE team at Coventry University and held at Coventry University's London Campus on Friday 11th April 2014.
REPLACE 2 aims to implement and evaluate the REPLACE community-based behaviour change intervention framework to tackle female genital mutilation (FGM) in the EU. This project marks a significant shift in the ‘approach' to ending FGM in the EU. The conference aimed to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss ending the practice of FGM in the EU.
The programme for the day and photos can be viewed now. The video addresses from Norman Baker MP and Lynne Featherstone MP and the presentations of all speakers will be made available shortly.
